It shows an expressive and intense nose, with layers of aromas and flavours acquired over a long maturation period in barrels, in Kopke's cellars. A wine full of character, with balsamic notes wrapped in aromas of coffee and white cherry, with sweet aromas, including molasses and vanilla; the notes of wood make this wine truly unique. Full bodied and character-full in the mouth, the sweetness is perfectly matched with notes of spice, dried fruit, and a salty and resinous hint, at the finish.
